Become a Non-Smoker with the Laser Quit Smoking Program on the Central Coast
-
Peter can help you stop smoking by dealing with all the reasons that are unique to you.
Peter employs a pro-active approach in removing a lot of the common reasons people fail, before they even happen.
- Laser stimulation of acupoints reduces the desire for nicotine
- Homeopathic remedies reduce or eliminate withdrawal symptoms
How does the treatment work?
- Nutritional support speeds detox and minimises weight gain
- Goal setting and focus will help you to say “NO!” even when tempted to indulge
A high power, infra-red cold laser is used to stimulate approx. 60 acupuncture points on your head, arms, legs and torso. The treatment takes approx. 45 mins and you will need 3 treatments on 3 consecutive days. It is ideal to have the treatment early in the morning. The laser causes no pain - some people notice a mild tingling or feeling or warmth. The laser makes it easier to quit smoking through stimulation of acupoints, which releases endorphins (your body's natural feel-good chemicals) so most people feel extremely relaxed during and after the treatment. Many people find they no longer have the desire to smoke after the first LLLT treatment. You will be provided with a supply minerals, vitamins and homeopathics to support your system through the initial 2 weeks detox period. These are included in the treatment price.
Price: 3 laser treatments + minerals, vitamins and homeopathics - $395 OR
5 monthly payments of $99

Success Stories
I’m not sure if you will remember me or not, I know you see many many people at your practice, however I felt compelled to write......it has been 3 years smoke free !
I look back to the day I sat in the treatment room and you explained what was going to happen and how the process worked... I was saying to myself uh huh.. as soon as I get out of here... there was a store in Wyong... im gonna grab a pack of smokes... but fortunately that never happened... I walked out of there and never looked back... I came in the next day for the 2nd treatment... but honestly... I didn’t even need it... I was done for good after the first one!
I want to thank you for saving my life... I had been smoking for 35 years and had tried several things to quit... Hypnotists twice... Cold turkey... and I was on Champix for 6 or 7 months before I came to see you... nothing worked for me... Until Laser.... the most incredible thing was the fact that I had no withdrawals or cravings... it was simple !— Justin
Why Quit Smoking?
-
Column
The range of diseases caused by smoking is frightening. Additionally it can have an adverse affect on those around you, including family and children.
- Every year, about 15,000 Australians die from diseases caused by smoking.
- One in two lifetime smokers will die from their addiction.
- About half of these deaths occur in middle age.
The cost of smoking! If you give up a pack a day habit, you save a packet (and your health). The average packet of 25 cigarettes costs you about $14.30.
As your body repairs itself over the next year, you'll not only see some improvements in your health, but also in your bank account.
If you quit at midnight today, by 12.00pm tomorrow your body will have already started its repair process and almost all of the nicotine will be out of your system.
By morning your blood pressure and heart rate will have begun to return to their normal level. By the end of the next day carbon monoxide will have been largely expelled from your body, and you can take up oxygen more easily.
Within a couple of days you will have started to feel and smell fresher, and your sense of taste and smell will have sharpened. You will also have saved $28.60, enough to hire a bike for 2 hours or treat yourself to a movie.
Within a week or so accumulated phlegm will loosen in your lungs and you may cough it up over the next few weeks. Cilia, the lungs's natural cleaning system, will have begun to recover. By this time you will have saved $100.10, enough to enjoy a special dinner for two, a comedy show or an MP3 player.
Within a month exercising will be easier, as more air is getting into your lungs. With the $435 you have saved you could spend a weekend away, or you could buy some new clothes, a digital camera, or GPS navigation.
Within three months the blood flow to your hands and feet will have improved. You will have saved $1,306, enough money for a return ticket to New Zealand, or you could buy a flat screen TV.
At six months your immune system will have greatly improved and your lungs will be working much better. With the$2,612 you've saved you could afford a winter escape to Queensland or a new computer. After nine months you could buy a return ticket to Europe.
A year after you have quit, your increased risk of dying from a heart attack is almost half that of a continuing smoker. You will have saved $5,219 and could buy a round the world ticket, pay a lump sum off the mortgage or buy a new home theatre package.

All cigarettes are toxic
Some smokers believe that switching to weaker flavoured cigarettes labelled “fine”, “light”, or “smooth” will lower the health risks of smoking. Unfortunately, there is NO health benefit to these versus full-strength cigarettes.
“Light” cigarettes have holes in the filter to let air in and dilute the smoke, but you will still be inhaling the same chemicals and in the same quantities as you would from stronger flavoured cigarettes, so you are doing the same amount of damage to your body.
Depending on the number of cigarettes you smoke, typical benefits of stopping are:
- After twelve hours almost all of the nicotine is out of your system.
- After twenty-four hours the level of carbon monoxide in your blood has dropped dramatically. You now have more oxygen in your bloodstream.
- After five days most nicotine by-products have gone.
- Within days your sense of taste and smell improves.
- Within a month your blood pressure returns to its normal level and your immune system begins to show signs of recovery.
- Within two months your lungs will no longer be producing extra phlegm caused by smoking.
- After twelve months your increased risk of dying from heart disease is half that of a continuing smoker.
- Stopping smoking reduces the incidence and progression of lung disease including chronic bronchitis and emphysema.
- After ten years of stopping your risk of lung cancer is less than half that of a continuing smoker and continues to decline (provided the disease is not already present).
- After fifteen years your risk of heart attack and stroke is almost the same as that of a person who has never smoked.
Other reasons to quit smoking:
- Quitting smoking is a challenge. Once you succeed, you will have more confidence to take on other challenges.
- Smoking suppresses your immune system, so you are less protected against the flu and other illnesses. Even young smokers have more coughs, phlegm, wheezing and chest infections than non-smokers. Smokers also tend to have more severe symptoms.
- Smoking makes it harder to get enough oxygen to your muscles during exercise, so you tire more quickly.
- Wrinkles around the eyes and mouth develop earlier, and tar stains your fingers and teeth.
Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: Why three treatments? Isn't one enough?
A: It is true that some quit smoking clinics only do one treatment. I have found that the success rate is much higher by doing three treatments.
Q: Do you offer a guarantee?
A: Even though the treatment is very successful, I do not offer a guarantee. If I were to offer a guarantee, then I would be taking responsibility for your health. I believe that everyone needs to take responsibility for their own health and well-being.
Q: What is your success rate?
A: It is illegal in Australia to quote success % for medical treatments. I have found that most people do successfully kick the habit if they want to give up. Those sent for the treatment by someone else (Partner, Mother, Father etc.) are much less likely to be successful.
